As an intern in the statics team in Frankfurt, you’ll be part of an inspiring team and you’ll learn to manage statistical methodology for safety monitoring. You will be supported by mentors from Statistical innovation hub and Safety COE in all department-related activities, actively participating and receiving on-the-job training.

You will be involved in the following activities

• Sanofi has developed a fit-for-purpose statistical methodology for safety monitoring using blinded clinical trials

• The applicant will be tasked to understand the methodology, extend to more complicated scenarios and run extensive simulations in R to support publication

• Applicant will be supported by mentors from Statistical innovation hub and Safety COE

About you

• Currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program (e.g. Statistics, Bioinformatics, Life Sciences, or similar)

• Internship up to 3 months

• Strong knowledge on Bayesian statistics and meta-analysis

• Programming skills: R, LaTex (for publication writing)

• Strong scientific curiosity

• Understanding of Good Programming Practices
