Meet the team:
The Membrane Test Team drives sensor functional testing for current and future sensor designs. We are part of the Advanced Electrochemistry R&D organization that provides innovative solutions in assessing and improving sensor performance to make a positive impact to our users every day. The Sr. Medical Device Engineer position is a crucial role in performing analysis of test data to evaluate improvements to the glucose sensor architecture. This test data focused role will provide a first-hand experience with characterizing sensor performance providing feedback to the development team within the design space.
Where you come in:
As Sr. Medical Device Engineer focused on analysis of sensor test data, you will drive understanding of sensor interaction between test and design variables. The primary responsibilities are performing statistical analysis on sensor test data, writing code to enable analysis of large data sets of sensor signals and compiling analyses on sensor performance attributes for presentation of data and reporting.
Lead development of scripts in Python and MATLAB for the team to automate test data extraction, transformation, filtering, compilation of data from multiple sources, and regression including statistical analysis of the data and writing output to databases.
Perform statistical modeling, regression and multivariate analysis to understand interactions between materials, sensor build and design parameters in the sensor response.
Analyze experimental bench data against in vivo results to generate hypotheses on performance attributes related to sensor accuracy and reliability with minimal guidance using tools such as JMP, MATLAB and Excel.
Provide conclusions based on statistics and interpretation of the significance of the bench data and results.
