Champion Windows - Staff Accountant

 

If you have experience in Accounting and excellent analytical skills join the Champion Window team! Champion has an immediate opening for a Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements, reports, and supporting schedules by collecting, analyzing, and summarize account information
• Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
• Analyze revenues and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately and resolve any variances on a monthly basis
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing supporting documentation
• Respond to accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 3+ years related accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills
• Highly detail oriented and organized, able to meet assigned deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamix 365 & Microsoft Dynamix CRM beneficial
