Reporting to the VP Head of Investor Relations, the Investor Relations Analyst will work among the IR team to design and execute a comprehensive, proactive financial communication program. In this role, the Investor Relations Analyst will be more specifically in charge of analyzing Alstom’s financial disclosure and calculations, make a relevant comparison with our peers’ practices and formulate proposals to our Board in order to put our financial communication at top level.
The Investor Relations Analyst will interface with corporate executives as well as internal experts across the company and will be exposed to top management. Externally, the Investor Relations Analyst will interact with auditors, sell side analysts, our main IR tools providers, brokers and investors.
The Investor Relations Analyst will :
- Set-up benchmarks of our peers on their results, calculation methods, disclosure’s content and format
- Create internal models and macro-models on Alstom valuation, working capital, stock price evolution, etc..
- Monitor Alstom’s valuation through consensus (target price, recommendation) and analyze brokers Excel valuation models
- Synthetize brokers notes in Alstom and Capital goods sector for CEO and CFO and other executives
- Analyze our consensus estimates on main financial key indicators from analysts and build our internal consensus template
- Monitoring of our IR tools: Customer Relations Management (CRM), Market database, Euronext, Communications and distribution platform
- Produce our periodical reports : weekly and monthly basis for distribution to the Board, ALT and FLT.
- Be responsible for our shareholding base analysis and update, prioritizing investors, collecting thresholds
- Contribute to regular Board and Audit Co presentations and internal presentations to functions
- Be responsible for financial communication press releases and contribute to analysts presentations and Q&A/Backup file for quarters, half year and full year release
- Be responsible for distribution to AMF and investors of periodic financial communication deck, and for the distribution to AMF and investors of main regulated information press releases
- Contribute to the Universal Registration Document production process.
Expected profile :
- Master’s degree in Corporate Finance
- 3-4 years of experience in equity capital market or corporate finance
- Good understanding of financial analysis and financial communication practices
- Prior experience in modelling
- Very high analytical skills and a result-driven attitude
- High level of discretion and capacity to deliver with tight deadlines
- Operational effectiveness/Accountability/Extreme attention to detail
- Fluent in English, written & oral, other language a plus
