Estimated annual base pay: $106,900.00 - $133,600.00 (midpoint) - $160,300.00

Are you ready to make your mark? If you’re a Senior Network Engineer, we have an exciting opportunity for you. This position is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, support, and management of the enterprise network infrastructure. This includes the local-area/wide-area, telephony/voice, corporate wireless, network security, and remote access infrastructures. The Sr. Network Engineer will possess expert level knowledge in 3 or more of the network technologies identified above and be called upon to provide technical leadership and mentoring for the Network Engineering team members. The Sr. Network Engineer can work independently with no supervision
What You Will Be Doing
Leads and mentors team members in identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization of the enterprise network infrastructure. Develops standards for deployment across the enterprise.
Provides technical guidance to Woodward IT members world-wide; provides IT infrastructure support to Woodward's global user base.
Designs, installs, configures, and maintains local-area, wide-area, and wireless network infrastructures including routers, switches, access points, UPS's and other supported appliances as required. Ensures LAN and WAN network connectivity for the enterprise.
Troubleshoots and resolves problems directly related to the local network infrastructure. Responsible for leading and resolving enterprise-level networking issues.
Monitors network usage and growth, and plans for adequate resources (cabling, power, switching, phone, LAN, WAN, remote access, IP addresses, security appliances) for the enterprise.
Works with Global IT Security team to design, implement and maintain enterprise security solutions (firewall, network access control, VPN and remote network access, etc.) Evaluates and selects standard security networking infrastructure for the enterprise.
This role is on call every 7-8 weeks
What We Are Looking For
Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical discipline. 4+ years of additional related experience or 1 or more preferred certifications listed below may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
8+ years experience with data and voice networks having global responsibilities required
Experience with design, installation, trouble-shooting, and support of an enterprise network required
A solid knowledge of industry trends, and experience with designing enterprise network environments while balancing performance, cost, availability, and security required
Experience in a global and team-oriented envir
