Your Specific Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for scheduling appointments, updating demographic information (address, phone, insurance), determining eligibility for the sliding fee discount program, check-out, and cashiering. Employee will be expected to report to work in a timely manner and begin work at the appointed time. The employee will have a positive attitude and display excellent customer service skills in all interactions with internal or external customers. 

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including MS Outlook, WORD, and EXCEL
  • Proficiency in data entry
  • Basic knowledge and application of office machines and equipment, including computer, copier, telephone, and fax
  • Ability to adapt to new tasks and/or situations
  • Ability to manage a variety of responsibilities in a timely, efficient manner
  • Ability to prioritize tasks

 

Qualifications:

Minimum

  • Valid driver’s license
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Obtains Incident Command System (ICS-100) certification within 60 days and National Incident Management System (IS-700) certification within 90 days of employment
  • Completes the Family Planning Title X mandatory trainings within 30 days of employment

 

Preferred

  • Bilingual
  • Experience working in a clinical setting
  • Experience verifying insurance coverages
