Collaborating with research centres and R&amp;D areas in digital technologies and AI, within the Life Sciences Beauty sector.</p> <p>As a Senior Consultant, you will lead and coordinate statistical and analytical activities across projects while contributing hands-on to the development of high-quality models and workflows. You will guide junior team members, collaborate closely with domain experts, and ensure the methodological integrity of deliverables in scientific and business-driven contexts.</p> <p>You will also support project managers and engagement leads by structuring workstreams, managing priorities, and contributing to client communication and expectation management.</p>   <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead and oversee statistical analyses, including <strong>univariate, multivariate, mixed-effects, and Bayesian models</strong>, ensuring methodological rigor.</li> <li>Coordinate analytical workstreams, defining tasks, timelines, and quality standards for junior and mid-level team members.</li> <li>Design statistical strategies for <strong>missing data</strong>, clinical trials analytics, instrumental datasets, and <strong>omics pipelines</strong> (genomics, proteomics, metabolomics).</li> <li>Develop scalable, reproducible analytical workflows in <strong>R</strong>, applying best practices in software development and documentation.</li> <li>Provide technical leadership in multidisciplinary settings involving biology, engineering, data science, and strategy.</li> <li>Oversee data extraction, modelling, and transformation activities using SQL, Python, and modern data engineering principles.</li> <li>Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and client deliverables with clear, actionable insights.</li> <li>Participate in client meetings, offering structured communication, methodological guidance, and progress updates.</li> <li>Support proposal development, internal knowledge creation, and capability building for the practice.</li> <li>Conduct code reviews and enforce quality and reproducibility standards using <strong>Git/GitHub</strong>.</li> </ul>   <p><strong>Required Skills</strong></p> <p><strong>Statistical Expertise</strong></p> <ul> <li>Advanced proficiency in <strong>multivariate, mixed-effects, and Bayesian modelling</strong>.</li> <li>Strong experience handling <strong>missing data</strong> using robust statistical approaches.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience analysing <strong>clinical data, instrumental datasets, and/or omics data</strong>.</li> <li>Ability to validate models, challenge assumptions, and ensure methodological soundness.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Technical &amp; Programming Skills</strong></p> <ul> <li>Expert command of <strong>R</strong> and the Tidyverse ecosystem.</li> <li>Strong understanding of <strong>software engineering best practices</strong>: modularity, testing, reproducibility, version control.</li> <li>Experience leading or reviewing work in <strong>Git/GitHub</strong> environments.</li> <li>Proficiency in <strong>SQL</strong> and intermediate knowledge of <strong>Python</strong> for data workflows.</li> <li><i>(Preferred)</i> Experience with <strong>Linux</strong> and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Biological Foundations</strong></p> <ul> <li>Solid understanding of biological systems, including the <strong>central dogma</strong> and evolutionary theory.</li> <li>Strong interest in life sciences, biotechnology, and omics-driven analytics.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Soft Skills &amp; Leadership</strong></p> <ul> <li>Proven ability to <strong>coordinate workstreams</strong> and mentor junior profiles.</li> <li>Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage parallel tasks under pressure.</li> <li>Clear, concise communication of complex statistical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.</li> <li>Confidence in navigating multi-opinionated, multidisciplinary environments.</li> <li>Commitment to <strong>scientific rigor</strong>, crit
