Title: Project Analyst II
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday through Friday. May require occasional after hours work.
This position will support our Patient Access team at Tufts Medicine. Primary responsibilities will include the creation, optimization and ongoing administrative ownership of PBI-based dashboards and datasets, and partnering with operational leaders to develop data packages for patient access, workforce management and process improvement. This role will integrate data from multiple platforms, including AWS, Epic, and Workday to produce KPIs and other critical metrics in support of our clinical and operational leaders.
Job Overview
This position is responsible for performing operational analytics and providing key data to multidisciplinary teams to help strategically adjust projects accordingly. Proactively manages data and systems infrastructure that will facilitate and accelerate the scope, process, and performance. Works closely with leaders to provide accurate tracking and reporting of programmatic initiatives and metrics to the senior management and support staff as requested. Identifies opportunities to improve outcomes such as quality, patient access and volume, and improve overall patient experience.
Job Description
Minimum Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in related field.
2. Two (2) years of related experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with statistical analysis software such as T-SQL.

1. Provides regularly reporting to stakeholders that measures attributes such as quality outcomes, patient satisfaction, network referral volume, margin drivers for the PO and for departments, and patient access data.
2. Provides project support and easily digestible reports and dashboards to multidisciplinary teams, generally focused on data-driven priority initiatives, anticipated future projections, and insight to areas of potential improvement.
3. Assists with internal audits, identifying areas of process improvement, and centralizing processes aimed at optimizing workflow where necessary.
4. Coordinates enterprise-wide efforts to ensure that performance improvement programs are developed and managed using a data driven focus that sets priorities for improvements aligned to ongoing strategic imperatives.
5. Collaborates with the department director and teams on development and communication.
6. Ensures quality and process improvement programs are data-driven.
7. Provides analytic and quality improvement support to ambulatory leadership that includes: observation, data collection, monitoring, solutions and reporting.
8. Recommends ad hoc consulting and process improvement initiatives on an as needed basis.
