Sample Maker (Part-time)

Description
You will have the responsibility for picking, grading, classifying and sorting samples according to size, color, or other specifications. Discard defective sample slabs. Process samples by labeling, gluing and/or mortaring to the appropriate sample boards. Read orders to determine product type needed by customer, package the various samples in to the appropriate containers, and determine the appropriate shipping method.
Requirements
- Be able to use the hand strapper and crimper.
- Some computer skills
- Ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness
- Ability to work well with others
- Forklift if required (License required)
- Must help in other departments when necessary.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs. occasionally.
- Must be able to bend, twist and stoop occasionally.
Schedule
Part-time Schedule - Monday - Friday 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM
