What You’ll Do:

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children and staff each day
• Follow established menus, portion guidelines, and allergy-safe food procedures
• Maintain a clean, organized, and fully sanitary kitchen that meets all state and licensing standards
• Track inventory, manage supply orders, and minimize waste
• Support special events with themed meals and family-friendly celebrations
• Ensure proper food labeling, temperature checks, and safe storage
• Partner with Center leadership and teachers to keep children safe and happy

What You Bring:

• Experience as a cook or kitchen assistant in a childcare center, school, or commercial kitchen
• Understanding of safe food handling and sanitation standards (ServSafe certification a plus)
• Excellent organization, time management, and teamwork skills
• A caring and reliable attitude—you love making a difference through food

The Learning Experience

Our curriculum focuses on the six ages and stages of early childhood development and engages children in hands-on learning activities that encourage them to explore and solve problems at their own rate of development. This forms a foundation for kids to Learn, Play and Grow under the care of our nurturing teachers and staff.

 

At TLE®, we’ve created a full cast of characters that become our little learners’ educators, partners and friends through their preschool education journey. Each character has a unique personality and area of interest and brings learning to life by allowing children to explore the world through fun and imagination.
