Manager, Internal Audit
The Internal Auditor is primarily responsible for the oversight and management of Media Ratings Council audits of Nielsen’s TAM service and the overall accreditation process. The auditor plays a lead role in identifying and resolving issues that may arise and working to remove any roadblocks to the audits.
The auditor ensures that all audit deliverables are complete and accurate to reflect the true state of compliance with Nielsen and MRC standards.The auditor partners with our technology, product and operations teams to facilitate the audit walkthroughs and deliverables in line with defined timelines.
The auditor also is responsible for communication with key stakeholders to ensure transparency in audit status and to proactively present potential areas of non-compliances

A reasonable estimate of salary range for a new employee to be offered this role would be between $50,000 - $185,000 which would be adjusted based on each employee's geographic location. The position of each employee within a compensation range at Nielsen is dependent on several individual circumstances, such as experience, training, certifications and other business requirements/needs.

Responsibilities:
- Works with Audit Director to plan operational and compliance audits.
- Works with other Audit Managers and department leaders to allocate Auditor I/II/III staffing resources.
- Conducts risk assessments and identifies controls in place to mitigate identified risks.
- Performs audit procedures to verify compliance with the project’s applicable standards.
- Oversees Auditor performance of audit procedures to verify compliance with the project’s applicable standards.
- Concludes on effectiveness and efficiency of control environment and compliance with applicable standards.
- Identifies control gaps and opportunities for improvement. Oversees Auditors in documenting audit findings, maintains audit work papers that support procedures performed and conclusions drawn.
- Oversees preparation of an audit report summarizing the results of the audits performed to Management or other pre-determined audiences.
- Acts as primary liaison with engagement stakeholders.
- Contributes, as appropriate, in external audit process.
- Provides advice on internal control and participates in enhancing internal audit standards and practices.
- Provide feedback on performance of Internal Auditors.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Audit Director.
- In addition, the auditor is expected to be an active member of the Measurement Standards and Compliance team participating in all relevant activities within the function.
Educational Background / Knowledge:
- Level of studies: University Degree or Diploma
- Type of studies: Business, Accountancy, Statistics or Technology
- 8 or more years Audit or ITGC work experience
- A working knowledge of MRC Measurement Standards
- Work experience with Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence is an advantage.
- CPA certification preferred
- Proficient in English or native English
