Duties and Responsibilities:
Administration (100%)
- Lead the team of clinical coordinators who serve as liaisons between graduate programs and clinical agency nursing education contact personnel.
- Collaborate with the graduate Program Directors to identify appropriate clinical sites based on course learning outcomes.
- Collaborate with graduate leadership team to ensure student compliance with each agency’s health and safety requirements for faculty and student clearance to practice in that agency.
- Develop a process to educate and support faculty of the compliance requirements for the clinical sites they are assigned and provide them an orientation and introduction to the clinical site and its key point of contact. Conduct audits and tracks compliance/performance improvement activities to ensure accuracy of records for clinical compliance.
- Identify areas for process improvement and make recommendations for change to Director(s) of Clinical Affairs.
- Coordinate collection of evaluations from clinical sites, students, and faculty regarding student placements and creates and disseminates reports to graduate nursing and CoN leadership
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with key contacts at each agency. Coordinates annual or semiannual meetings with affiliates.
- Represent Clinical Coordination Team at regional nursing meetings, i.e., Sutter Health Educational Leadership (SHEL).
- Update the clinical illness/injury policy and procedure as necessary, communicate any changes to the faculty and maintain current policy and procedures.
- Manage relevant data storage and tracking software and provides faculty development for use of these programs.
- Maintain and analyze data obtained in relation to student clinical/preceptorship/residency placement evaluation and quality improvement for accrediting bodies (i.e., BRN, CCNE)
- Assist in training and support of the Clinical Coordinators and Administrative Assistants to ensure they have the resources they need to do their jobs efficiently and can support one another.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
- Active, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN), eligible for licensure in California.
- Minimum of master’s degree in nursing, business or health administration and specialization in project management.
- At least five years facilitating clinical relationships and student communication for clinical clearance and or academic programs.
