Job Description

This is a key role to provide exemplary levels of service to our customers by managing orders from receipt through to delivery. Work with engineering, purchasing and manufacturing to ensure the customers’ requirements are met in full. Ensure that the customer is kept always updated on order developments whilst managing any issues in a proactive manner.

Reporting to the Costumer Service Team Leader, in this role you will be build strong relationships with customers and other internal departments to ensure customer requirements are followed, you will provide attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and approach challenges with a proactive mindset and find solutions to problems.

In this role you will identify use price lists to provide customers with accurate pricing and lead-time, identify and resolve order queries with customers and ensure that their requirements are correctly interpreted and fully understood. Liaise and use negotiation skills with both customers and internal departments regarding delivery or special requirements, work with the other team members for all the technical matters. You will work with the Quality department to resolve and investigate customer quality complaints, ensuring customer expectations are managed through to resolution.

This role would suit a determined problem-solver, who has got excellent Interpersonal and communication skills written and oral, ability to approach challenges with a proactive mindset and find solutions to problems.

Experience Requirements:

• Experience of the valve industry
• Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills written and oral
• Sound PC skills , Microsoft word, Excel and Outlook

The Successful Candidate:

• Demonstrates the ability to work in stressful situations with difficult clients who are focused on an expeditious resolution.
• Commercial awareness or a background in Customer Service
• Knowledge of material pricing
• English language
