The Inventory and Data Entry Associate plays a critical role in maintaining accurate inventory records and supporting the efficient flow of materials within the organization. This position requires meticulous attention to detail in recording and reviewing all documentation associated with incoming and outgoing materials. The Associate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of inventory data, processing necessary paperwork, and collaborating with purchasing, inventory control, and other departments to maintain material accuracy and traceability throughout the procurement process. This role also involves performing data entry into relevant systems and participating in physical inventory counts and cycle counting activities.
- Record and review all documents related to the receipt and delivery of materials.
- Confirm the accuracy of all documents and inventory records within the purchasing and inventory control departments.
- Process and file all necessary paperwork for shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and traceability of all materials received and delivered.
- Work with other departments to facilitate the completion of the material and procurement process.
- Perform data entry into financial and non-inventory management systems.
- Review and distribute necessary documents to ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct physical inventory counts.
- Perform cycle counts, coordinate inventory adjustments, and execute various other material control functions.
- Monitor inventory replenishment processes and make necessary adjustments to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Manage multiple projects without direct supervisory responsibilities.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 6 months of retail experience.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle financial transactions accurately.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Ability to work in an environment with potential exposure to extreme temperatures, moisture, smoke, and chemicals.
