Position Impact:
The Sales Training Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and scaling of the company’s sales training infrastructure to drive consistent, high-level performance across inside sales and door-to-door (D2D) sales channels, including contractor teams.
This role contributes to the design and execution of onboarding programs, helps manage and optimize the LMS platform (Articulate 360), and supports scalable training frameworks such as train-the-trainer models for both internal teams and external partners. The position plays a key role in enabling sales effectiveness by delivering training across diverse sales environments, including inside sales and field-based D2D teams. The Specialist provides hands-on coaching to sales representatives and frontline leadership, reinforcing core selling skills, improving execution, and ensuring alignment with company standards, messaging, and customer experience expectations. Operating with a high level of ownership, this role partners cross-functionally with Sales Leadership, Operations, Sales Training, and contractor teams to support training initiatives aligned with business goals. The Sales Training Program Specialist contributes to performance improvement, consistency across markets, and the ongoing development of a scalable, high-impact sales training ecosystem.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Eligibility for US Employment without sponsorship
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent education in a related field of study preferred
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
- A valid driver's license, subject to successful verification through a DMV check, is mandatory
- Ability to travel to multiple work sites and maintain a flexible schedule based on the needs of the Sales organization, including evenings, overnight, weekends, holidays, and overtime as required
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, sales training, enablement, or coaching roles, with increasing responsibility in program development or execution
- Proven success supporting both inside sales (phone-based) and outside sales (field or door-to-door) environments, including experience working with or training contractor teams
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and scale training programs in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and facilitation skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse audiences, including frontline teams and leadership
- Experience developing structured training content, onboarding programs, and instructional materials that drive measurable performance outcomes
- Proficiency with Salesforce, LMS platforms (Articulate 360 preferred), sales enablement tools, and data/reporting dashboards (e.g., SalesRabbit or similar)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and translate insights into actionable training improvements
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority
- Experience in telecommunications or other rapid-growth, performance-driven industries strongly preferred
- The ability to effectively communicate in English, including speaking, reading, writing, and comprehension, as necessary for effective job performance and workplace communication
- Proficiency in Spanish Language desirable
