The Right of Way Division is seeking a detail-oriented and critical thinker to join our Commercial Signs Regulatory Program team. This role plans and conducts routine site inspections to ensure statewide enforcement of federal and state laws pertaining to commercial
signs and junkyards. Reviews permit applications to conduct site inspections and collect detailed information related to the requests. Must interact professionally with the public, local governmental and commercial entities.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough reviews and data collection for permit applications for commercial signage. Research and interpret relevant codes, policies, and commercial sign regulations. Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to analyze requests and ensure compliance. Communicate clearly and professionally with sign owners, operators, and other stakeholders.
