The Royal Caribbean Group’s Revenue has an exciting career opportunity for a full time Analyst, Onboard Revenue reporting to the Senior Manager, Onboard Revenue Strategy & Shorex Revenue.

 

Position Summary

This position is responsible for providing accounting, finance, and data support to the Shore Excursions team. Role is responsible for the creation and maintenance of Shore Excursion revenue management strategies, the management of these practices resulting in tour revenue optimization, driving cost savings, and managing payments of over $200M to tour operators. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develops and communicates revenue strategies for onboard revenue to gain efficiencies, improve functional capabilities, and implement critical business initiatives which impact P&L performance. 

• Develops pricing models, tours packages, seasonal pricing strategies, and tour positioning which will bolster revenue growth.  

• Completes necessary pricing changes for promotions and regular price changes. 

• Finalizes all necessary request forms for internal stakeholders for successful execution of promotions, new products, and existing product updates. 

• Directs the development, enhancement, and maintenance of pricing strategy models across different regions and target demographics.  

• Supports onboard revenue management functions which include price management, reporting, audits, and analytical querying. 

• Focuses on business performance monitoring and reporting by creating business intelligence reports to assess the current performance and to understand business risks to meet year-end forecasts. 

• Tracks, reviews, and approves payments to tour operators. 

• Participates in ad hoc analysis as needed.

Financial Responsibility 

Prepares month-end journal entries such as COGS, prepaid expenses, and VAT. Identifies cost savings and processes over $200M in tour operator costs per year.
