About the role

Role Summary: 

Ensures that work orders are processed as planned, in a safe and impressive work environment.

Pay: $18 per hour + $1.25/hour shift premium

 Schedule:

  • Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Thursday, 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM (with occasional overtime)
  • Additional Info: Occasional overtime may be required. Please note, this role may transition back to a traditional third-shift schedule in the future (to be determined).

  • Provide inputs to improve people and processes.

Equipment Operations and Maintenance

  • Understands & Demonstrates proper use and execution of designated MHE.
  • Demonstrates competence within job tasks and duties
  • Understands requirements of machine operations to not negatively impact operation

Data and Technology

  • Demonstrates competence within job tasks and duties.
  • Understands data inputs available to escalate
  • Provide inputs to technology to capture relevant data

Performance Execution

  • Understands and Demonstrates importance of achieving KPI's.
  • Aware of impact performance will have on utilization and schedule completion
  • Demonstrates requirements and provide inputs in order to always exceed expectations

EH&S Stewardship

  • Follows all safety requirements and supports prevention and identification of potential hazards.
  • Demonstrates contributions towards reduction of risk and impact operations may have on surroundings
  • Demonstrates contributions towards waste reduction

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

  • Weight-Handling Requirements  
  • Lifting and Carrying: Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing between 30-50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a shift. 
  • Overhead Lifting: Occasionally lifting items above shoulder level. 
  • Pulling and Pushing: Moving heavy objects using tools like pallet jacks, dollies, or carts. 

General Physical Abilities  

  • Standing and Walking: Prolonged periods of standing and walking, often on concrete floors. Shifts may last 8-12 hours. 
  • Bending and Stooping: Regular bending, squatting, kneeling, or twisting to pick up or organize items. 
  • Reaching and Stretching: Ability to reach above or below waist level to retrieve or store goods. 
  • Climbing: Occasionally climbing ladders or stairs to access products stored at higher levels. 
  • Endurance and Stamina  
  • Performing physically demanding tasks in varying conditions (e.g., cold storage, hot warehouse spaces). 
  • Repeating motions like lifting, bending, or carrying without fatigue for an entire shift. 
  • Coordination and Dexterity  
  • Good hand-eye coordination for picking, packing, or sorting items. 
  • Manual dexterity for operating tools or machinery (e.g., forklifts, scanners). 

Additional Requirements   

Vision: Ability to see clearly for reading labels, identifying items, and operating machinery safely. 

Hearing: Ability to hear alarms, instructions, or warning signals in a noisy environment. 

Physical Health: Must meet any health standards (e.g., no restrictions that would prevent lifting or moving objects).
