Recruiting Associate – Decatur Complex
Hybrid Role – Decatur, IL North American Headquarters

We are seeking an experienced Recruiting Associate/Talent Acquisition Partner with strong recruitment experience to attract and hire hourly talent supporting our Decatur Complex operations. In this role, you will utilize your advanced sourcing skills to research, identify, and network with passive candidates to secure critical talent for our organization. You will serve as a highly consultative talent advisor, bringing external market insights when partnering with hiring managers and HR Business Partners on talent needs and recruitment strategies.
This is a fast-paced and dynamic role on an energetic and inclusive team where thinking about things in new ways is strongly supported. You’ll also contribute to strategic projects aimed at improving and innovating how we attract and recruit top talent. From building candidate pipelines to enhancing the manager and candidate experience, you will help position ADM as an employer of choice for highly skilled, in-demand talent that is critical to our growing Decatur operations.

Job Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with hiring managers across the Decatur Complex and develop a deep understanding of team dynamics, cultural fit, and the skills and experiences needed to support operational success
• Act as an ambassador of ADM and help promote a strong employer-of-choice brand within the local and regional talent market
• Use your knowledge of the competitive landscape to develop effective recruiting strategies for open positions
• Leverage multiple sourcing tools and channels to identify and attract highly skilled and diverse talent
• Own the full cycle recruiting process, including sourcing, candidate relationship management, offer development, and closing candidates
• Keep hiring managers and candidates informed on the status of the hiring process to ensure a positive and transparent experience
• Partner effectively with HR Business Partners and site leadership to ensure the talent needs of the Decatur Complex are met
• Drive an efficient hiring process and maintain accurate pipeline and process metrics within the ATS

Job Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a full life-cycle recruiter
• Demonstrated advanced capabilities in direct sourcing and candidate engagement
• Highly developed communication skills — both written and verbal
• Prior agency experience is a plus
• Strong consulting and problem-solving skills
• Experience developing targeted sourcing strategies to attract talent for niche roles and in challenging talent markets, particularly within manufacturing or operations environments
• Self-motivated with strong organizational skills, integrity, and follow-through
• Strong relationship management and candidate closing skills
• A proactive “dot-connector” who sees the big picture and drives processes to deliver desired outcomes

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
