Job Description

  • Create, maintain, and continually improve positive long-term relationships with key customer contacts  
  • Resolve customer concerns and inquiries for service repair and warranty
  • Issue RGA numbers (return goods authorization) to customers, distributors
  • Calculate pricing for quotations according to defined standards and escalate according to established guidelines
  • Determine material availability and escalate according to established guidelines
  • Ship products to and from customers and suppliers
  • Execute, track, and proactively manage repair / warranty-requested orders according to department standards
  • Proactively identify and resolve issues related to stagnated orders to support fast delivery
  • Regular follow up with customers regarding open quotations and RGA's
  • Proactively communicate with other team members regarding priority and workload including when availability exists to support other team members
  • Independently review knowledge database and proactively escalate unique scenarios when appropriate
  • Cross trained in SAP order processing for other areas when needed
  • Overtime may be required, sometimes with little advance notice
  • Occasional travel to visit customer (relationship building) and off-site training
  • Perform other essential and peripheral duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent from an accredited school (ex.  PA Dept of Education, FL Dept of Education, US Military). 
  • 3 plus years customer facing work experience.
  • Knowledge of personal computer and Microsoft Office software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and high degree of professionalism with customers and co-workers
  • Strong organizational skills including excellent priority management
  • Demonstrated ability to take direction and work within process standards
  • Ability to learn and apply new processes
  • Experience with an ERP system (ex. SAP)
  • Must be able to work well in a high-paced, variable environment
