Supervisor - Patient Benefit Advisor (PBA)
Overview: Granger Medical Clinic is looking to hire an experienced Supervisor to support our PBA team members and Phreesia implementation. This position will be a hybrid position, rotating within the clinics, some remote work from home, and some at our Headquarters in Taylorsville, UT.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong analytical, problem solving and management abilities.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication and human relation skills required.
- Knowledge of the medical industry, insurance billing, CPT codes and medical terminology
- Advanced multispecialty knowledge
- Applicants must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
- Establishing and maintaining a good working relationship with all external and internal contacts.
- Great customer service with but not limited to:
- Patients
- Revenue Cycle Team members
- Clinical Team members
- Managers/Directors

- Exercising good judgment and can manage the expectations of all "customers" including patients and families, clinical staff, physician groups, and all external "customers".
- Collaborating with clinical departments, providers, M.A.s, PSRS and co-workers to obtain information to ensure accuracy of the patient record and the optimal processing of the patient's bill.
- Accurately follow all Granger Medical workflows and communicate appropriately with all team members.
- Ability to be flexible with the demands of the position and open to workflow and policies changes with a willingness to implement.

Essential Functions and Duties for Supervisor
- Support and manage staff performance
- Overseeing the PBA team issues, investigating and helping bring issues to resolution in a timely manner
- Manage overtime and reviewing over PBA team schedules and time off requests.
- Communicating team needs to the Manager
- Reporting and Communicating team metrics
- Provide feedback and training to employees
- Monitor Revenue Cycle dashboards to ensure patient claims are accurate while helping and follow up with clinic team members to correct errors that may be seizing claim processing.
- Oversee and help support RCO Dashboard needs and functions such as processing working and ensuring they are brought to resolution timely.
- Working supervisory position with direct support to the team and departmental needs.
- Managing workflow of employees and delegating tasks as needed
- Assessing the work performance of PBA team members, identifying areas that need improvement
- Ensuring PBA team goals, deadlines and performance standards are met
- Supervisory skills including interviewing, employee performance evaluations, disciplinary record of conversations.
- Demonstrates excellent character and strong leadership qualities with physical presence at HQ.
- Training and onboarding new hires to ensure they understand their role
- Setting goals for team members and making sure they comply with the company's plans and vision
- Reporting performance to team and to the Manager
- Support Granger culture and initiatives and uphold the values through daily work activity
- Communicate to the PBA team regarding changes in daily work and additional information that my impact work
- Work with Manager and communicate team needs and issues
- Writes, generates, and evaluates a variety of reports <
