About the role
Job Summary:
Assist the department and company with various kinds of business and corporate planning actives. Prepare, analyze and make reports on the company’s sales and profit plans versus actual results for business improvement.
Major Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze and report sales plans, forecasts and actual results.
- Ensure sales prices are maintained accurately in a timely manner to avoid payment issues. Validates sales price change from annual price reduction, material slides and other reasons; make necessary sales adjustments, reconcile retroactive payments and outstanding receivables with customers and suppliers
- Assist in the preparation of expense budgets and profit plans and also in monthly plan vs. actual analysis
- Work with internal departments on a daily basis to ensure profit target would be met
- Set up standard cost while ensuring all necessary information is registered in the system (bills of material, material usage, purchase price, process code, etc.)
- Responsible for insuring trade compliance; prepares necessary documentations as requested by customers
- Require work with confidential data
- Perform other related duties as assigned
- Must be able to work extended hours when required
Key Competencies:
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with fast speed and heavy deadlines
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft suite, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to identify and research accurate and required information on a topic; ability to handle and logically organize large amount of data, validate and commit to data accuracy; ability to utilize, interpret, and communicate the information effectively
- Persistent and eagerness to improve process productivity
Additional Roles and Responsibilities:
- Understand your job responsibilities to perform, monitor and control the process as it affects Quality and Environmental Impacts.
- Follow all policies, procedures and work instructions and make recommendations to improve the process through continual improvement.
- Notify Management immediately when problems or non-conformances are detected.
- Appropriately record problems or non-conformances to ensure corrective action and preventative measures are taken.
- Assist in the problem-solving process, corrective action and prevention activities.
Minimum Qualifications for the Job:
- Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related discipline
- Prefers 1-3 years’ experience in business planning (preferably in a manufacturing environment)

Salary Range: $52,000-$65,000
