The Manager of Sales Operations will be responsible for leading several sales enablement efforts within Sales Operations and for our global sales organization.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
LEADERSHIP
- Demonstrate Nordic’s maxims with enthusiasm, optimism, and courage
- Collaborate with Sales, business development, and business line leadership on departmental strategies and business operations
- Design, optimize, and standardize operational processes for all individuals involved in the sales process
- Enhance operational processes that improve business operations, client experience, and operational efficiency, including leading collaborative efforts with pursuit stakeholders across Nordic enterprise
- Develop and implement operational strategies that align with company goals
- Analyze operational performance and identify areas for improvement
- Drive results by setting compelling goals and aggressive schedules; translating these goals into actionable, quantitative plans and consistently meeting or exceeding goals
- Work on business operations projects that may be assigned on an ad hoc basis, and may assist other corporate initiatives as necessary, directed, assigned, or requested
- Make decisions quickly and decisively, often with limited information
- Foster a team-oriented culture rooted in respect, high ethics and integrity, empowerment, camaraderie, collaboration and effective communication
- Collaborate with the sales teams across the Nordic global divisions to enable all Nordic departments and functions work together to ensure we effectively serve our clients’ and consultants’ needs
- Motivate others to achieve results by modeling strong ability to successfully execute
- Convey a sense of urgency, acting quickly to seize opportunities and capitalize on trends, while changing tactics quickly in midstream to optimize results
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team focused on sales support and enablement, with an emphasis on creating a culture that serves the organization with flexibility and collaboration. Assist team with deliverables during peak volumes
- Collaborate with other departments to align operations with overall business strategy
- Communicate operational updates and initiatives to stakeholders
- Monitor workflow and productivity to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Analyze data and leverage insights to identify operational improvement opportunities, leading the implementation and documentation of process recommendations and tracking success
- Develop and maintain onboarding programs, prepare learning materials, and lead training courses for employees across the organization as needed for sales pursuits and sales support
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree and 5 years of related experience, a master’s degree and 3 years of related experience, or 8 years of related experience and no degree.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to balance urgent, short-term needs with strategic, long-term priorities
- Strong organizational skills, with attention to details
- Proficient with Microsoft Office. Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment
- Strong analytical skills and ability to use data to optimize performance and inform future strategies
- Ability to work well under pressure and within time constraints
- Must demonstrate and embody Nordic’s maxims
ADDITIONAL DETAILS
- Position may be located in Nordic’s Home Office in Madison, WI or remote in a professional, home office setting
- Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time
- Must be accessible and available to perform work-related functions at any time, including nights and weekends, as needed
