HybridWhat you will do
The Portfolio and Financial Management Lead is responsible for overseeing the effective management of project portfolios and financial performance, driving governance, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with strategic goals, deliver accurate reporting, and foster strong partnerships to optimize portfolio outcomes:
Major Responsibilities
Portfolio and Financial Management:
Works with the individual owners of initiatives, ensuring adoption of standard tools and templates for program/project management, resource planning, and financial planning/reporting.
Works with Finance and Program Leadership to deploy financial management strategies including investment forecast and actual spend reconciliation processes.
Owns the project based 3YOP and BP development (except for Salaries related spend)
Develop and maintains reporting mechanisms to demonstrate program/project status to impact of results.
Facilitates hiring and terminating contractual resources on behalf of the organization, leaving the day-to-day management of resources to the hiring manager
Represents Quality in cross functional Portfolio /tooling (Planisware, etc) discussions
Communication & Interdependency Management:
Represents Quality in various Operations forums to share initiative plans, status and/or issues
Participates in interdependency workshops to share and bring back conflicts in schedule and resource allocation back to Quality led initiatives
Acts as Business Owner for Smartsheet tool, including standard templates and dashboards
What we are looking for
Required Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 10 years of Project Portfolio Management leadership experience in large complex business transformation programs required.
Knowledge of business strategic priorities and role of projects in portfolio to deliver on those priorities
Excellent communication skills, making the complex clear and compelling to all levels of the organization in both written & oral forms are required
Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with demonstrable ability to influence/collaborate across divisional and functional boundaries to achieve business outcomes and drive alignment across multiple stakeholder groups with competing priorities is required
Prior experience with project portfolio Management Systems eg Planisware, MS Project, and Smartsheet
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience in working in a Quality/GxP environment, defining and leading the change management approach for digital programs with strong knowledge of change management principles, methods, and tools is preferred.
