About the role

Located in Templeton amongst the oak trees, Adventist Health Twin Cities has been serving northern San Luis Obispo County since 1977. Comprised of a 122-bed acute care facility, our team provides exceptional care in emergency medicine, orthopedics, obstetrics, digestive disorders, wound care, and various medical, surgical and outpatient services. Locals enjoy weekly farmers markets in downtown Templeton, farm-to-fork dining, beautiful landscapes for hiking and biking, and beach days just fifteen minutes away at Cambria and Morro Bay.

POSITION SUMMARY:

This is a union-based role represented by the CNA. Perform the professional functions of a Registered Nurse in assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the care of patients.  Functions as Scrub Technician when needed. Coordinate, manage, provide and delegate patient care. Responsible for meeting the established Standards of Nursing Practice and promoting cooperation among the health care team. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Education and Work Experience:

  • Graduate of school of nursing: Required
  • Basic computer skills: Required
  • 1 year of recent acute care RN experience in the operating room: Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

  • Current California RN license: Required
  • BLS through the American Heart Association: Required
  • ACLS within 30 days: Required for RNs (OSU, PACU/RECOVERY, GI)
  • PALS within 30 days: Required for RNs (PACU/Recovery)
