Summer Linen and Central Service Technician (Temporary Position)

This is a limited tenure position. Candidates must be able to work with a start date of either May 20, 2024 or June 3, 2024 through 10-12 weeks of temporary summer employment.

Applications must be received by May 1, 2024.

 

Central Service – Deliver medical equipment and supplies to various nursing units and departments within the hospital. Pick up soiled equipment from nursing floors and return them to the decontamination area. Clean and disinfect IV pumps and other equipment.

Linen – Restock exchange carts with linen from bulk linen carts. Transport linen carts to various locations throughout the hospitals and main clinic. 

Must be 18 years of age prior to start date.  High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be able to read, write, and understand English. Will be required to stand and walk all of the scheduled shifts. The occasional pushing/lifting of up to 46 pounds.
