Our team is fast-paced, innovative, and passionate about transforming how enterprise development teams manage and deploy database changes.
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the evolution of developer experience and productivity within our flagship product portfolio. This role will focus on creating frictionless, modern, and intelligent experiences that support developers in authoring, validating, and managing database change — across IDE integrations, changelog authoring tools, and AI-assisted workflows.
If you are a former developer turned product manager with a passion for delivering exceptional developer tools and deep empathy for the day-to-day challenges of enterprise DevOps teams, we want to talk to you.
What You’ll Own:
- Developer Experience & Tools: Lead the product strategy and roadmap for features that elevate developer workflows — including IDE plugins, authoring tools, command-line experiences, and emerging AI-assisted functionality.
- Enterprise Developer Enablement: Build capabilities that help developers at scale, ensuring productivity and compliance in large, complex environments.
- Voice of the Developer: Act as the primary advocate for developer users — understanding their challenges, translating feedback into actionable improvements, and creating delightful, low-friction experiences.
- AI-Assisted Productivity: Explore and define smart assistance use cases such as AI-generated changelogs, intelligent validation, or prompt-based configuration and error resolution.
- Platform Integration: Ensure seamless integration into the broader CI/CD and DevOps toolchain, including common SCM, CI, and observability platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Product Planning & Execution: Translate strategy into well-scoped, actionable product requirements. Drive execution across cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact features on time and with quality.
- Customer & Developer Engagement: Conduct research, developer interviews, and usability testing to deeply understand user needs and pain points.
- Roadmap & Prioritization: Maintain a strategic roadmap centered on enhancing developer productivity. Balance user value, technical feasibility, and business impact.
- Collaboration: Partner closely with engineering, design, documentation, and developer relations to deliver cohesive, intuitive developer experiences.
- AI & Innovation Exploration: Collaborate with design and engineering to prototype and test new experiences around code generation, changelog recommendations, and auto-resolution of errors.
- Metrics & Telemetry: Define and monitor key product KPIs (e.g., time-to-changelog, adoption of IDE tools, reduction in authoring errors) to inform decisions and measure success.
- Go-to-Market Support: Work with marketing, enablement, and customer success to craft compelling messaging, tutorials, and onboarding experiences for new features.
What You Bring:
- Developer Background: You’ve spent time as a software engineer or have strong experience building products for developers — you understand their workflows, pain points, and expectations.
- Enterprise Product Management: 6+ years of experience as a product manager delivering software for enterprise IT, focused on developer tools or platforms.
- DevOps & CI/CD Expertise: Solid grasp of modern CI/CD, GitOps, and DevOps practices, with hands-on experience building or integrating with tools in this space.
- Hands-on Approach: You're comfortable defining and validating product ideas through prototypes, mockups, and close collaboration with technical teams and early adopters.
- Customer Obsession: You thrive on talking to users, identifying pain points, and crafting scalable, intuitive solutions that make their work easier and more productive.
- Agile Execution: You’re experienced in Agile environments — skilled at writing clear epics and user stories, scoping MVPs, and adapting based on user and team input.
- Excellent Communication: Clear, concise communicator who can adapt messaging for both technical and non-technical audie
