Summary: Bamboo Health is building a team of compassionate clinicians and leaders who are committed to improving care access to those in most need. We are seeking a highly motivated Sr. Provider Engagement Specialist to help our team change the way people access behavioral health care. You will play a critical role in integrating behavioral health into physical health during care transitions by supporting the implementation and ongoing success of our clinical service model and how we collaborate with primary care and behavioral health practicing organizations. The role will focus on building and maintaining a network of providers who can deliver our model designed to engage, assess and build trust with individuals with moderate to severe mental health and substance use disorder conditions, and navigating them to the necessary behavioral health, primary care and social services. You will work within the context of a team-based model, driving towards outcomes important to the patient and our provider and payer customers. What You’ll Do:- Identify, and recruit behavioral health providers to ensure patients have access to a comprehensive and high-quality provider network to meet their needs
- Engage and onboard partnership providers to identify and connect behavioral health patients in need of care coordination.
- Build and maintain a network of primary care and behavioral health specialists who can deliver our model of care to increase timely access to care for individuals with moderate to severe mental health and substance use disorder conditions.
- Craft and deliver clinician engagement plan(s) to grow new market partnership opportunities and nurture continued use of the care coordination service by existing partner providers.
- Engage local behavioral health and primary care providers to build out market specific networks that create same or next day access to high quality care, and onboard the providers onto the network.
- Liaise with provider and payer customers to map out their existing primary care and behavioral health provider networks.
- Develop clinician engagement and provider network playbooks over time and iterate on these during stages of early development with partners.
- Define, implement and monitor key performance indicators that reflect user engagement and network build success.
- Provide consistent updates regarding network build and user engagement to leadership.
- Begin establishing initial contact with providers and introduce them to available resources.
- Collect baseline data on provider satisfaction through surveys and reviews.
- Conduct provider training focused on common challenges.
- Create and maintain a clinician engagement and provider network playbook to streamline early stages of partner development
- Meet established key performance indicators focused on user engagement and network success.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, communications or related field
- 5+ years of experience in the healthcare, ideally in technology enabled services
- 2+ years of sales or account management experience
- A high level of judgment, analytical ability and creativity in investigating problems that require original and innovative solutions
- Demonstrated scrappiness and project management acumen, coupled with a strong desire to be hands-on with respect to executing/implementing new partnerships
- Strongly empathetic with a keen desire to reduce barriers to behavioral health and social services for the underserved
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including clinicians, administrators, and C-level executive
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with healthcare organizations, including hospitals, clinics, and insurance companies
- Experience working in fast-paced, rapidly changing work environments
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
