About the role
This is a remote position.
ScheduleFull time; Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM PST with an hour unpaid break
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to bridge the gap between complex technical information and clear, user-friendly documentation for a variety of stakeholders, including consumers, internal teams, and regulatory bodies. You May Contribute Your Expertise By:
Developing and maintaining high-quality product manuals, user guides, and technical documentation.
Editing and refining existing content for both internal and external stakeholders.
Creating safety guidelines for electronic products, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and warning labels for child safety.
Standardizing documentation across various platforms and media, ensuring clarity and consistency.
Incorporating visuals (illustrations, animations, and photographs) to enhance user understanding.
Gathering usability feedback and continuously improving documentation for better accessibility.
Writing assembly manuals for toys, furniture, and other consumer products.

Requirements
Requirements:✔ Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering or a related field.
✔ 6+ years of experience in technical writing, particularly within electronics or energy-related industries (APPLICANTS MUST SUBMIT PORTFOLIOS)
✔ Proven ability to explain complex topics in a clear and concise manner.
✔ Excellent writing skills, with strong attention to detail and consistency.
✔ Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
✔ Experience with technical specifications and the ability to translate them into user-friendly content.
