Inventory Control and Quality Assurance Associate

As the Inventory Control Quality Assurance Associate, you will be responsible for managing inventory within our warehouse management system. This position will also be responsible for coordinating activities related to receiving and recording products sold by the company.
What You Will Do:
- Monitor inventory accuracy and movement, using manual and/or computerized inventory systems.
- Perform inventory adjustments within inventory systems when necessary.
- Maintain inventory accuracy and communicate adjustments to management.
- Perform asset transfers between sites and bins (locations) to computerized database systems when necessary.
- Communicate with managers about any potential risks that may affect the inventory and our ability to efficiently fill orders in a timely manner.
- Conduct periodical cycle counts to prevent potential inventory issues as needed.
- Actively assist in physical inventory counts.
- Perform day to day administrative tasks such as maintaining inventory related files.
- Respond to any departments who may need information regarding products or inventory procedures.
- Assist in the development of inventory improvement plans, inventory control procedures and best company practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For:
- High School Diploma or GED is a plus
- 0-3 Years of inventory control experience
- Able to multitask, organize, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and time-sensitive environment
- Can easily adapt to shifting priorities
- Excellent attention to detail
- Understanding of compliance and safety
- Fluent reading and writing skills
- Proficient computer skills
- Quality conscious
- Knowledge of vendor regulations
- Knowledge of warehouse best practices
- Effective problem solver
Nice To Have:
- Working knowledge of WHS (High Jump a plus)
Working Conditions
- Environment: Warehouse
- Extreme Exposures: Works in areas requiring exposure to varying temperatures, extreme heat or cold and damp or drafty conditions
- Schedule: Variable schedule; including nights and weekends – occasional overtime may be required
- Physical Requirements:
- Heavy; Lifting up to 75 lbs: ability to lift, push, pull, and move boxes up to 70 lbs
- Regularly required to reach with hands and arms, above and below the shoulders
- Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, stretch, crouch or crawl; must be able to be on feet for majority of shift (8-12 hours)
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, or balance
- Travel Required: Yes – Limited; will be required to travel between multiple worksites based on volume and business needs

What we offer:
The hourly range for this position is $19.74 - 22.77 per hour. The base hourly rate may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, and location. Eligibility for the annual performance incentive may apply. Jazwares is a multi-state employer, so the salary range may not apply to other states.
