Summary

Responsible for the general daily operations of an assigned area in a childcare center setting.

Job Description

Coordinate the implementation of developmentally-appropriate curriculum that supports and enhances children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth. Assess the skills and progress of each child using observations, assessment tools, and activity records. Create a positive and constructive relationship with parents and families. Train and supervise staff, providing guidance and coaching as needed.

Qualifications

Associates degree in child development, early childhood education or a related field required, Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Two years experience in childcare and instruction and/or supervisory responsibilities required. Child Development Associate (CDA) certification & three years experience may be substituted for degree.
