JOB DESCRIPTION
Based at OPmobility's international R&D center, you will be part of the calculation's team within our Product Performance department.
The main objective of this internship is to establish a correlation database between calculated predicted results and physical validation tests. This initiave aims to ultimately minimize the need for physical validation tests as the simulation and correlation processes become sufficiently reliable.
MAIN ACTIVITIES

- Collect various physical test data within our on site lab and compare them to CAE results
- Maintain the correlation database, analyze results, identify disparities and propose solutions to enhace the CAE methodology and aligh it with physical test outcomes
- Collaborate closely with CAE Engineers and Validation Engineers to develop a comprehensive and relevant database
- Present the potential reduction of physical tests using old data
PROFILE
- Graduate student (BAC+5) pursuing Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering/Plastics Engineering or related field
- Strong understanding of CAE calculations and physical test results
- Demonstrates solid aptitude for analytical thinking and scientific result analysis
- Possesses advanced levels of English and French
- Demonstrates curiosity and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Office 365 tools, including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Great communication and synthesis abilities
- Collaborative team player
- Knowledge of Abaqus, Radioss and Hypermesh would be a valuable plus
DURATION
1 year apprenticeship starting in September or October 2024.

Sigmatech - Avenue du Bois des Vergnes, 01150 Sainte-Julie (30 km from Lyon - carpooling options are available).
COMPENSATION
Calculated according to level of degree + company restaurant subsidy + transportation allowance + Acces to on-site sports gym and concierge services
