The opportunity:
We're looking for a talented and driven Senior Brand Designer to join our growing marketing team. In this pivotal role, you'll be instrumental in shaping our visual identity and bringing our brand to life across all touchpoints. If you're a design enthusiast with a strategic mindset and a knack for execution, we want to hear from you!
Day-to-day responsibilities:
Actively collaborate with content, performance, and product marketing teams to conceptualize and execute a wide variety of design projects;
Create website pages adhering to UI/UX best practices, design illustrations, advertisements, presentations, and one-pagers, and manage external design resources as needed;
Take an active role in the creation and documentation of core branding assets, including logos, color palettes, and typography. You'll also enforce brand consistency across all design outputs, reinforcing our company's values and market position while adhering to the accessibility and UX/UI best practices;
Prioritize time and resources to accomplish short and long-term projects;
Manage external design agencies and freelancers, overseeing projects from kick-off to delivery, ensuring they stay on time and within budget;
Enforce brand consistency across all design outputs to maintain a cohesive visual identity, reinforcing the company’s values and market position;
Oversee the development and implementation of design that aligns with our company's brand objectives and business goals;
Encourage the exploration and adoption of innovative design technologies and methodologies to keep the brand at the forefront of industry trends;
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and behavior to inform design decisions and contribute to broader brand strategies.
Requirements
Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Bonus points for experience with newer asset creation tools like AI image/video generators (e.g., Midjourney, Synthesia, HeyGen);
A strong portfolio showcasing relevant design work across various formats, including websites, landing pages, illustrations, and advertising campaigns;
You love to design and take extreme ownership of the quality of your work and the work of those you manage;
Excel in communication, especially in presenting and defending design and brand strategies to internal stakeholders;
You enjoy providing direction and feedback to freelancers and are comfortable collaborating with colleagues;
You are extremely communicative and organized;
You are capable of juggling multiple projects at various stages of completion at one time;
You are an expert at understanding, following, and maintaining a company's brand identity;
You are comfortable being the primary experienced designer on the team initially, and constantly looking to improve your skills and learn new approaches;
You are constantly looking to improve and learn new skills;
You aspire to become a Brand Manager in the next few years;
Strategic mindset with the ability to see beyond the immediate tasks and understand broader brand implications;
Passion for staying ahead of design trends and leveraging insights to enhance brand relevancy and appeal.
