Ensure all welding, mechanical, dimensional, and coating/painting operations are executed in accordance with relevant Codes, Standards, and Quality Control Plans/Inspection Test Plans. This role offers specialization tracks based on technical expertise and project requirements.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Project-based (International assignments)<br/> <strong>Experience Level:</strong> 3-10 years<br/> <strong>Disciplines:</strong> Welding | Mechanical | Dimensional Control | Coating &amp; Painting</p><p><strong><u>Key Responsibilities</u></strong></p><ul><li>Execute specific inspections on materials, equipment, and construction/installation activities per Quality Control Plans</li><li>Issue Quality Records and non-conformance reports as required</li><li>Verify conformity with specifications and ensure proper material traceability</li><li>Check materials are correctly received, stored, preserved, handled, identified and traceable</li><li>Perform visual inspections, dimensional tests, and functional checks</li><li>Witness tests and inspections, verify results are in accordance with codes and standards</li><li>Verify testing and measuring equipment are calibrated and suitable for use</li><li>Check availability of procedures, qualifications, and certifications</li><li>Collect and manage documentation ensuring records are retrievable in final As-Built dossier</li><li>For subcontractor activities: ensure correct implementation of approved Quality Control Plans and witness inspections</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong><u>Technical Specialization Areas</u></strong></p><p><strong>Welding:</strong></p><ul><li>Verify welding parameters and consumables during operations</li><li>Check availability of welding procedures (WPS/PQR) and welder qualifications</li><li>Perform pipe line-up checks and material traceability verification</li><li>Check welding equipment, pre-heating, heat treatment records</li><li>Carry out visual inspections of welds and issue relevant reports</li><li>Monitor extent of repairs made by welders</li></ul><p><strong>Mechanical:</strong></p><ul><li>Inspect mechanical items, steel structures, vessels, columns, tanks, heat exchangers, piping, pipe supports</li><li>Verify material receiving inspections and incoming mechanical items</li><li>Check environmental conditions are adequate prior to work commencement</li><li>Monitor preservation for mechanical items</li><li>Witness inspection and testing per project specifications</li><li>Evaluate inspection/testing results and ensure non-conformances are closed satisfactorily</li></ul><p><strong>Dimensional Control:</strong></p><ul><li>Execute dimensional inspections during fabrication, construction, erection, installation phases</li><li>Control proper calibration of all measuring equipment</li><li>Perform measurements during mark-out, fit-up, welding, and after welding/PWHT</li><li>Check measurements during assembly area preparation and support points</li><li>Prepare as-built dimensional dossier per project requirements</li><li>Assist engineering with constructability analysis regarding tolerances</li></ul><p><strong>Coating &amp; Painting:</strong></p><ul><li>Verify/control correct storage and certification of materials</li><li>Witness/perform qualifications of coating processes</li><li>Check surface preparation and record atmospheric conditions prior to painting</li><li>Carry out wet and dry film thickness checks</li><li>Monitor correct coating cycles and wet f
