Air Liquide Healthcare Ireland has over 30 years experience and specialises in treating and monitoring respiratory diseases in the patient's home supporting multiple therapies:

• Home Oxygen

• Nebulisers

• Ventilations

• Sleep

We currently provide such therapies to over 10,000 patients across Ireland (combined private and public healthcare). Our field based operations team consist of Healthcare Technicians and Patient Care & Sales Specialists, who ensure that our patients receive the support that they need whilst using our equipment. From installation, training on how to use equipment, servicing and removal.

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities


Commission/Startup and operate liquid bulk and specialty gas/chemical delivery equipment.
Perform minor inspections and preventive maintenance on gas and chemical related equipment.
Perform daily rounds including recording readings, completing safety inspections, monitoring online gas and chemical systems, verifying toxic gas monitoring operations, and completing chemical tote/drum and gas cylinder initial charging.


Make initial evaluations and then obtain proper assistance when confronted with problem situations.


Satisfactorily complete TGCM Tech Level I local OJT minimum requirements within 12 months in job grade.
Participate in customer and Air Liquide programs including, but not limited to: Safety, Training, Operations, and Preventive Maintenance.
Train TGCM Tech Level I employees.
Comply with all applicable HS&E Standards including, but not limited to: PPE, Forklift Operations, Lock Out/Tag Out Program, Confined Space Entry, etc.
Complete assigned tasks as per existing procedure.
Performs minor analytical procedures and/or sampling procedures.
Accountable for the safety of all persons, and general public surrounding facilities. Safety is a condition of continued employment.

 

Skill Set/Knowledge/Expertise 

• Good Communication Skills: Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.

• Evidence of previous work in a successful team environment

• Knowledge of all proper reporting procedures per onsite operations policy, including product acceptance criteria, tank fill, inventory and material usage, monitoring, safety parameters and personnel requirements.

• Self motivated to learn.

• Electro-mechanical aptitude.

• Able to understand and abide by stringent safety rules.

• Able to work in Excel/Google spreadsheets
