Site Training Lead - Parenteral Filling (PF)

About This Role

The Site Training Lead applies learning expertise and business knowledge to develop and execute against a learning strategy to drive business outcomes at a site operations location. This position will be dedicated to the Parenteral Filling (PF) operations at Biogen’s site in RTP.

It will be imperative to build and sustain relationships with the site leadership team and General Manager and to serve as a partner to all site functions. You will conduct performance analysis, analyze systems, gather data, and select appropriate solutions to achieve performance goals; evaluating results against overall organizational targets and adapting/refining learning plans as needed. You’ll participate in new hire onboarding and other established training and learning programs specific to the site and the overall PO&T business unit. You’ll also support site investigations and audits as needed and be responsible for ensuring regulatory compliance subject to inspection by FDA, EMA, and other global regulatory agencies. There will be formal dotted line reporting to the Site Quality Head.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as strategic partner and learning advisor to the site, with a focus on specific factory area needs. Develop and implement cGMP compliant training programs according to need.
• Assess learning needs and devise flexible, scalable solutions to create demonstrable business impact. Measure and report results per established KPIs. Work with site leadership team and General Manager to demonstrate training compliance and ensure effective implementation of site training initiatives, all with a focus on cGMP
• Provide guidance and support to managers and business learning liaisons to manage assignment profiles and curricula driving consistency across functions, including curricula in GMP. Assures training compliance, with dotted line reporting to Site Quality Head.
• Provide administrative oversight to owned programs, manage budgets and timelines, and ensure adherence to relevant policies and SOPs.

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university with a focus in Business, Learning, Psychology, or a related field plus a minimum of 5 years of transferrable experience in a highly regulated, cGMP production environment (Biotech, Pharma, or Life Sciences strongly preferred)
• Learning and development expertise – demonstrated ability in instructional design and implementation of learning programs
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and performance consulting capabilities
• Demonstrated track record of finding creative solutions via learning & training to achieve positive business outcomes
• Ability to establish credibility with and influence senior leadership

Preferred:

• Masters or Doctorate in Business, Learning, Psychology, or a related field
