The Compliance / Audit Program Manager will have responsibility for developing and executing global strategic internal audit and compliance improvement initiatives.
This person should be a well-rounded individual who thrives in fast-paced, technically advanced, and collaborative settings.
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Plan, perform and implement process improvement initiatives (using Lean, DMAIC or Six Sigma processes to understand existing processes through to improvement).
Organize, lead and facilitate cross-functional project teams.
Develop metrics that provide data for process measurement, identifying indicators for future improvement opportunities.
Collect data to identify root cause of problems.
Take initiative and develop creative solutions.
Measure performance against process requirements.
Align improvement to performance shortfalls.
Provide consultation on the use of re-engineering techniques to improve process performance and product quality.
Deliver presentations and training courses including measurement, analysis, improvement and control.
Survey and analyzes best practices for techniques and processes both internally and externally.
Effectively communicate team progress at varying levels across the organization.
Perform cost and benefit analyses
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree.
Requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
Ability to analyze, interpret, and leverage large datasets for decision-making. Proficiency in using technology and analytics tools to extract actionable insights from data.
Educational background in fields such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM).
Resilience and adaptability in dynamic environments and the ability to be comfortable navigating and responding to changes in the workplace, whether in terms of projects, technology, or organizational processes.
Ability to demonstrate strong critical thinking skills with a strategic view.
Ability to make informed decisions quickly, even in complex or uncertain situations. This includes being comfortable with ambiguity and acting swiftly to move projects forward while minimizing delays.
Working effectively with others, including cross-functional teams and stakeholders across matrixed organization.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships in collaborative environments.
Proficiency in modern software tools, particularly those related to artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). Should have hands-on experience applying these technologies to real-world challenges.
Ability to work across different organizational structures and departments, especially in matrix management environments where individuals may report to multiple managers or work in cross-functional teams and time zones.
Demonstrated experience with project management tools and methodologies to manage complex programs, end to end (such as Smartsheet, Plainsware, Microsoft Project). This includes managing deadlines, resources, and tasks to ensure successful project outcomes.
Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal, including the ability to present complex ideas or data visually through tools like PowerPoint, Tableau, or similar. This includes making technical information accessible to diverse audiences.
Willingness to listen to and consider differing viewpoints. The candidate should be open to new ideas, able to foster an inclusive work environment, and leverage diverse perspectives to drive innovation and problem-solving.
Lean Sigma green belt or black belt.
