Summary of the Job:
Sr Facility Project Manager – Lead Construction is accountable for managing and directing multiple design, construction, renovation and move facility projects from design to completion. Manage facility projects ensuring each is within target budget & delivered on time (schedule and budget). Projects include but are not limited to: prior year carryover projects, new projects for current and upcoming year as well as small moves & support work as needed throughout the year.
About This Role:
- Manage and direct multiple design, construction, renovation and move facility projects from design to completion on time and within budget. Additional accountabilities include:
- Ensure projects are executed per the approved designs/plans & aligns to the BU's needs, using appropriate standards, schedules, scopes, budgets, contracts, inventories & documentation.
- Coordinate all parties involved in the planning, design and construction process during project implementation
- Monitor and maintain project budget, scope and schedule; Manage Design documents, correspondence, contracts, change orders, etc. and assemble project resources
- Coordinate vendor/supplier activities; obtain punch list resolution, lien waivers & certificate of occupancy prior to final payment.
- Proactively identify issues & decisions that require resolution to keep the project on track.
- Provide clear, timely and consistent expectations & communication updates
- Use project management tools to successfully manage multiple projects with competing resources
- Manage facility projects ensuring each is within target budget & delivered on time (schedule and budget).
- Projects include but are not limited to prior year carryover projects, new projects for current / upcoming year and small moves & support work as needed throughout the year.
- Collaborate and partner with aligned business units and other stakeholders to develop acceptable solutions and timelines to key initiatives and projects.
- Participate in YE Strategic Summary Forecasting and quarterly division reviews as well as ongoing and ad-hoc project planning activities
- Results driven individual with experience managing complexity across a diverse set of environments
- Continuously meets strict deadlines and produce high quality deliverables, while requiring and motivating others to do the same
