Project Manager I - Nuclear

We are looking for a Project Manager I – Nuclear on behalf of our client.   This is an 8-month contact position (W-2)  We're looking for a Project Manager with nuclear experience who can manage multiple projects, including HVAC unit replacement, building renovation, and demolition and erection, with expertise in project costing, plan generation, implementation management, vendor interactions for purchasing and oversight, and collaboration with in-house employees.

 

Location : Jensen Beach, FL 34957   Onsite Only - Nuclear Access Needed

This is a 8-month contact position (W-2)

Per diem available 

 

Key Responsibilities:

•  Manage multiple nuclear-related projects simultaneously, including HVAC unit replacement, building renovation, and demolition and erection.

•  Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.

•  Ensure timely and efficient project implementation and completion.

•  Interact with vendors for purchasing and provide oversight to ensure quality and compliance.

•  Collaborate closely with in-house employees to ensure seamless project execution.

•  Regularly report on project status, milestones, and any issues to relevant stakeholders.

 

Qualifications:

•  Minimum of 5 years’ experience in nuclear project management.

•  Proven expertise in project costing, plan generation, and implementation management.

•  Strong vendor management and oversight skills.

•  Ability to effectively collaborate with in-house employees and other stakeholders.

•  High school diploma or equivalent work experience is required.

•  PMP certification is a plus but not required.

•  Experience working for a utility plant is highly desirable.
