JOB SUMMARY:

The Quality and Compliance Manager collaborates with the Chief Operating Officer and Medical Director to build systems that support an environment of continuous improvement, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• In collaboration with the COO and Medical Director, creates a culture of continuous improvement 
• Develops and provides oversight for the compliance program, ensuring adherence to all federal, state and other regulatory requirements 
• Collaborates with the Medical Director to develop and deploy the annual risk and quality plan 
• Pulls and synthesizes quality and productivity data in a way that is digestible and actionable for leadership, providers and staff 
• Manages compliance software and training program, including new hires and annual required trainings 
• Facilitates monthly compliance and quality meetings 
• Facilitates bi-monthly Board compliance meetings 
• Provides project management for all RFPs 
• Supports contract development and execution as requested 
• Provides oversight for EMR adoption and documentation standards 
• Defines and Implements Data and Analytics solutions, specializing in Master Data Management, including deployment, production support, process improvement
• Implement Training Programs to ensure all Leadership and staff follow guidelines to support compliance within our organization
• Develops and implements report standardization across the organization
• Partners with Executive Leadership to develop governance guidelines
• Evaluates program effectiveness for complex improvement projects

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to develop and produce easily understood and actionable reports and dashboards from complex data sets.
• Experience with designing and executing analyses to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and initiatives to improve quality.
• Knowledge of clinic operations, electronic health systems, and other data sources.
• Ability to organize, plan and prioritize assignments within multiple projects.
• Ability to perform the job in accordance with Riverland Community Health’s Standards of Business Conduct, which includes compliance, ethics and integrity, confidentiality, protection of assets and avoidance of conflicts of interest and inappropriate business relationships.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• BA or BS in Mathematics, Statistics, Health Analytics, Health Care Administration, Healthcare Economics or a related field
• 1-2 years of ambulatory care operations experience, preferably in an FQHC 
• Or an approved combination of experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

EMR Support Analyst 

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed in a clinic office environment. Contact with staff, patients and outside agencies. Possible exposure to communicable disease and medical preparations common to clinic environment.
