This consolidation of disciplines allows us to better serve patients in the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of kidney disease while we continue to provide high-quality patient care and carry on innovative research in all aspects of urology. As a Research Assistant on this team, you will interact with the Program Manager, Coordinators, Research Nurses and fellow Assistants, working together to propel projects forward, fulfill essential study-related tasks and document records.
A caregiver in this position works days from 8:00am – 5:00pm. This will be a temporary post-doctoral position.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Assist the research team with research study related tasks.
Assist with completion of protocol related activities.
Obtain and maintain clinical competencies for unlicensed caregivers such as phlebotomy, vital signs, ECG, POC testing and other testing as required.
Assist with the development and coordination of the research subject schedule in compliance with the research protocol.
Assis with the collection, recording and maintenance of research study records.
Assist in the development and maintenance of research tools, such as spreadsheets, questionnaires, and/or brochures.
Maintain study personnel certification records (license, CV, CITI, etc.).
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
High School Diploma or GED
One year of experience in a healthcare setting
Demonstrated proficiency with a variety of computer-based skills, including Word processing, spreadsheets, and database and presentation software
Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s Degree. This may substitute the experience requirement
