Your role at ZEISS Digital Partners

As a Senior User Interface (UI) Designer with passion for visual design and a focus on user needs, you will contribute to our goal of excellence in customer experience at ZEISS. Being part of every phase of ZEISS digital products, from exploration to shipment, you will create designs and with other designers, researchers, and frontend developers - shape our products with incredible experiences.

· Lead the design process from concept to final hand-off to engineering.

· Develop visually compelling and user-friendly interfaces for web ZEISS web pages.

· Ensure that all designs meet high-quality standards and are consistent with the ZEISS Design system and brand guidelines

· Work as part of a cross-functional team to ensure cohesive and effective design solutions.

· Communicate design concepts and strategies clearly to team members and stakeholders.

· Prepare and present design concepts and prototypes to stakeholders for feedback and approval. · Collaborate with various stakeholders, accommodating evolving requirements and feedback to iteratively refine designs. Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to balance creative design solutions with business objectives and stakeholder preferences.

· Use data and user feedback to inform design decisions and improve user satisfaction.

· Stay current with the latest design trends, tools, and technologies.

Your profile

· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in User Interface Design, Communication Design or an

equivalent work experience

· Minimum of 5-7 years of professional visual design experience, with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design skills and projects.

· Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and composition.

· Proficiency of wire framing/prototyping in Figma.

· Experience in the development and maintenance of design systems.

· Excellent visual design skills with a meticulous attention to detail.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

Additional nice to-haves:

· Initial experience working in cross-discipline teams.

· Understanding and some experience in working with Frontend technologies such as HTML and CSS.
