Job Description:
Robbins College of Health and Human Sciences is seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. The position will involve brainstorming, designing, and composing social posts for Facebook, Instagram, X, and LinkedIn for Robbins College. This position will involve attending and providing support at organizational events throughout the semester. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain practical experience in various aspects of marketing and communications, including social media, content creation, videography, and photography.
- Social Media Production: Assist in producing content for the Robbins College social media accounts, including creating posts and analyzing engagement metrics to refine strategies.
- Photography: Capture high-quality photos at events, around campus and for promotional materials, contributing to a rich visual representation of the Robbins College’s activities and culture.
- Event Support: Provide marketing and communications support for college events, including promotional efforts, live social media updates, and post-event coverage.
Qualifications:
- Current student, preferably pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Basic photography skills with an eye for detail and composition.
- Basic videography skills and video editing experience.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Provide marketing and communications support to assigned area of responsibility
- Assist with various projects, activities or tasks related to marketing and communications
- Support marketing and communications strategies and perform duties accordingly
- Exhibit a willingness to take initiative and work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
