Data Engineer Intern

We are looking for a Data Engineer Intern, to join our Big Data & Analytics team, in Amsterdam. You will be responsible for assisting in design, development and maintenance of an organization's data system and infrastructure.

What you will do

• Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various sources.
• Helping with data warehousing and data modelling activities.
• Participating in the creation of data-driven solutions to support business needs.
• Collaborating with data scientists, business analysts and software engineers to understand and implement data requirements.
• Implementing data quality and data governance processes.
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• Staying up to date with the latest developments in data engineering technologies and best practices.

What you’ll bring

• Pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala..
