Job Description

AECOM is currently seeking a Senior Construction Manager for a Federal Client in the DC Metro Area to provide onsite construction management services The role involves performing full-time, on-site CMS services, which includes continuous surveillance throughout the construction process. The Senior CM will be responsible for, but not limited to:

- Act as the lead for managing the oversight of construction projects. - Will cooperate in the development of implementation strategies and planning, review of master construction schedules and monitoring setting up and implementing safety procedures and policies by contractors. - Lead and participate in key meetings with other Government contractors to ensure timely resolution of any items with significant impact to budget and schedule.

As an AECOM Senior Construction Manager, you will be expected to:

• Provide guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
• Establish procedures that affect immediate organization.
• Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
• Act as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
• May have budget responsibilities.
• Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
• Oversee the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
• Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• BA/BS + 6 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Requirements

• CCM, PMP, PE, RA, CQM
