Regional Director – Miami Region

We are looking for a passionate Regional Director to join our Miami team and make a difference. As a Regional Director, you’ll play a pivotal role in growing membership, training regional and chapter teen leaders, deepening support for BBYO in the Miami community, and leading organization-wide initiatives that produce meaningful, Jewish experiences for Jewish teens. Alongside your team, you’ll connect in a dynamic environment and create a positive impact on teens, our community, and the world. 

SHAPING THE FUTURE FOR TEENS AND YOURSELF  

As a Regional Director, a typical day will include: 

• Lead the BBYO community as they work with teens to create impactful, fun and dynamic programs including large scale community projects and four to five overnight conventions each year  

• Provide guidance and supervise the staff that work directly with local chapters  

• Manage a team of direct reports in the region to foster growth and implement plans  

• Work directly with teen leaders to expand membership and impact of BBYO throughout the region  

• Build partnerships and networks in the community  

• Manage broad-based fundraising efforts and relationship building  

• Attend summer camp (but this time you’re in charge!) as you lead teen leadership programs 

• Empower and inspire staff, teens, volunteers and advisors through your mentorship, coaching and training 

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS FOR MAKING A LASTING IMPACT 

Our team has an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for innovation to drive positive change. Additionally, as a Regional Director, these skills are key to success: 

• Abilities: Experience with youth or teens is preferred
• Experience: 2-5 years of work experience
• Education: A bachelor's degree or higher
