Product Analyst / Data Analyst

OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Product / Data Analyst to join our SaaS client. This role is based in Alberta, Canada, fully remote. Must be able to work a T4 contract from April 2025 - end of January 2026.  Hourly rate: $50-55/hour CAD

Join a hybrid analytics and data product team within a SaaS company focused on security. This team supports the organization by delivering data-driven insights and enabling product, engineering, and business teams to make informed decisions. Analysts are aligned to specific areas:

• Product segment support

• Internal engineering enablement

• Enterprise and corporate use cases related to security products

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Data Analyst on this team, your day-to-day will include:

• Meeting regularly with stakeholders, including product managers

• Ensuring proper data signals for new product features

• Managing data flows and maintaining data integrity in the warehouse

• Building dashboards and visualizations (primarily in Tableau; some work in Looker)

• Partnering with the data engineering team on integration and modeling

• Collaborating with data governance to uphold data quality and access controls

  QUALIFICATIONS

Must-Have Technical Skills:

• Proficient in SQL

• Experience with Tableau

Preferred Technical Experience:

• Snowflake

• DBT (data modeling)

• Python (a nice-to-have)

• Looker

Soft Skills:

• Strong stakeholder management

• Emotional intelligence and adaptability

• Ability to communicate complex data clearly, including to leadership

Desired Experience:

• Product analytics background

• Familiarity with customer funnel/journey analysis

• Exposure to subscription models, paywalls, or authentication-based products
