Also, part of our culture is our concern for the environment and the implementation of social and environmental corporate responsibility actions.<br /> <br /> This could be your opportunity to join a company of international scope, with a project that needs you to meet the challenges of digital transformation.<br /> <br /> <strong>💻 THE ROLE</strong><br /> We are looking for a #TechTalent to perform duties as a <strong>Data Engineer </strong>for a national project in the banks sector. <br /> <br /> <strong>🙂 YOUR DAY TO DAY</strong> <ul> <li>Leverage large volumes of data from internal sources.</li> <li>Develop, maintain, and support data pipelines.</li> <li>Understand and be the point of contact for the business and  assess its needs</li> <li>Ensure architecture meets business requirements.       </li> <li>Recommend ways to efficiently provide quality data and added value.  </li> <li>Communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders, including data analysts, product managers, and business leaders</li> <li>Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results                                          </li> </ul> <strong>💡 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR</strong> <ul> <li>Academic background in Engineering, Economics, Computing, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields</li> <li>3+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong background in data architecture</li> <li>Availability to work in the hybrid model or in person in the Lisbon or Porto office</li> <li>Professional experience in any data visualization tool such as Tableau or Power BI           </li> <li>Professional experience in data analysis with programming, preferably Python (Pandas)</li> <li>Proficiency in SQL</li> <li>Fluency in written and spoken English</li> <li>Ability to analysze, synthetize and simplify.</li> <li>Knowledge of descriptive statistics and hypothesis testing is a plus.</li> <li>Knowledge in Big Data technology such as Pyspark, Presto and Airflow is a plus</li> <li>Knowledge of Power Query and DAX is a plus</li> <li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams</li> <li>Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines       </li> <li>English - mastery;                        </li> </ul> <strong>⭐ WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US<br /> Stable professional career</strong><br /> Working with Axians projects becomes an asset to those of us who want to offer stability through a secure career.<br />  <br /> <strong>Prospects for career advancement</strong><br /> You can access training and new certifications that will further elevate your skills.
