Leads development and implementation of industry best practices in clinical student placement and onboarding with an emphasis on standardizing processes across the system. Ensures processes are user-friendly and efficient for all users. Coordinates affiliation agreement contract management. Serves as a liaison between educational institutions and the organization regarding student placements.Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES- Leads the day-to-day oversight of the clinical onboarding staff. Participates in the performance review process by soliciting peer feedback, collating on behalf of department leader and providing input.
- Records, maintains, and extracts data related to clinical student placement and onboarding. Analyzes and presents data to internal stakeholders in a dashboard format.
- Coordinates the standardization and implementation of efficient placement and onboarding processes.
- Utilizes organizational software to coordinate, track, and onboard clinical rotations across the system.
- Works with legal and school partners to initiate new contracts and maintain current contracts.
- Monitors compliance to academic affiliation agreement guidelines and related policies for onboarding clinical faculty and students.
- Informs organizational stakeholders of the onboarding processes and guidelines.
- Applies the existing body of evidence-based practice and scientific knowledge in health care to nursing practice, ensuring that nursing care is delivered based on patient’s age-specific needs and clinical needs as described in the department's scope of service.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
EXPERIENCE
- Three years' registered nurse experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 0-25 lbs.
- Frequent sitting, standing, walking, reaching and repetitive foot/leg and hand/arm movements.
- Frequent use of vision and depth perception for distances near (20 inches or less) and far (20 feet or more) and to identify and distinguish colors.
- Frequent use of hearing and speech to share information through oral communication. Ability to hear alarms, malfunctioning machinery, etc.
- Frequent keyboard use/data entry.
- Occasional bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting and gripping.
- Occasional lifting/carrying and pushing/pulling objects weighing 25-50 lbs.
- Rare climbing.
