We’re searching for an Accounting Supervisor to join our Accounting Controllership Services (ACS) team. This position is responsible for advanced financial and accounting services and proficiency in a variety of accounting software for the Firm’s clients. Responsibilities include preparing complex financial statements, preparing payroll tax and sales tax returns, preparing and adjusting journal entries, supervising accounting staff, and solving complex accounting problems.
Experience in any of the following industries: Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing or Real Estate is required.
This position is fully remote with priority preference given to candidates living in the southeastern United States.

Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in public accounting.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and/or bookkeeping.
- Experience with Construction, Healthcare, Manufacturing or Real Estate.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Valid Driver's License with an acceptable driving record and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, or a related discipline.
- Certified Public Accountant
- 1+ years of experience in a supervisory position.
- Advanced knowledge of accounting software systems, including QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, Sage MAS 90, MIP, CCH Axcess, BILL, or ADP.
Summary of Responsibilities
- Apply outsourced accounting expertise to prepare, review, and ensure accuracy of workpapers, transactions, and client deliverables.
- Perform and oversee day-to-day accounting functions including AP/AR, payroll, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting.
- Utilize accounting software to complete client data entry, documentation, and routine accounting tasks efficiently.
- Review and approve work prepared by the ACS team, performing technical quality control to ensure standards and compliance are met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and staff, addressing accounting inquiries, resolving issues, and providing recommendations.
- Validate client-submitted documentation, identify discrepancies, and communicate resolutions or escalate issues as needed.
- Partner with ACS leadership to manage workload distribution, project lifecycles, and engagement delivery.
- Train, delegate, and supervise staff while monitoring performance goals, productivity, utilization, and professional development.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Support firm initiatives including client onboarding, recruiting efforts, cross-functional collaboration, and ongoing training and continuing education.
